NANOBRICK (KOSDAQ 286750) is pursuing the ‘transmittance and color-variable display material business’ based on the production platform of creating functional new nano-materials.
The existing displays with variable transmittance, made of liquid crystal (PDLC) or electrochromic (EC) materials, have limitations of poor light blocking power and poor durability. However, NANOBRICK aims at the transmittance changeable display market with excellent light blocking power and durability, for automotive electronics and exterior materials in buildings.

Compared to the existing LCD (liquid crystal display) or OLED (organic light emitting diode), which requires a complex structure of color filter and color combination circuit technology, NANOBRICK’s electro-phoretic display technologies are realizing various color changes simply by adjusting the delicate spacing among nanoparticles.

 

The company official said, “As we have a core source technology portfolio, we are going to create a market for electric color-variable emotional packaging materials that change the color of the surface according to the usage environment or consumer taste like chameleons.”
